An Evening with Laithwaites Wine for Velindre

A Night to Savour – In Aid of Velindre Cancer Centre
Join us at Pugh's Garden Kitchen, Abergavenny for an unforgettable evening of exceptional food, expertly paired wines and live music, all in support of an incredible local cause.
Hosted in partnership with Laithwaites Wine, this exclusive charity evening will feature a beautifully crafted five-course tasting menu, with each course thoughtfully paired with a complementary wine. Throughout the evening, a Laithwaites wine expert will guide you through each pairing, sharing tasting notes, food pairing advice and fascinating insights into every glass.
Alongside delicious food and wine, you'll enjoy live music throughout the evening and have the opportunity to take part in a charity raffle, helping to raise even more funds for Velindre Cancer Centre.
Tickets are £75 per head and 100% of the profits from this event will be donated to Velindre Cancer Centre, supporting the new £38 million Velindre @ Nevill Hall Radiotherapy Unit, which will increase radiotherapy capacity for patients across South East Wales.

Slow-cooked lamb ragu & arborio rice balls, pecorino, salsa verde
2nd course
Thai Pork Meatballs
Sticky glazed fragrant pork meatballs, sambal aioli, cucumber & daikon salad, fresh chilli & pickled ginger
3rd course
Baja Fish Taco
Beer-battered hake, jalapeño & coriander salsa, pickled red onion, pico de gallo & avocado
4th course
Pressed Beef Rib
Red wine sauce, chimichurri, burnt onion purée & confit shallot
5th course
Welsh Cheese Selection
Perl Las, Perl Wen & Hafod cheeses, rosemary & garlic crackers, hot honey & red onion chutney

You must be over 18 to book on to and attend this event. ID may be required at the event. Due to the nature of the set menu, we are unable to cater to any specific dietary requirements. Additional food and beverages outside of the set menu will be at an additional charge and will need to be paid for on the night, as well as any purchases made in our shop.
