How To Get To Us
By Train

Arrive at Abergavenny Railway Station.

From the station, it’s around a 15–20 minute walk to Mill Street.

The most direct route is to walk straight down Station Road, then continue towards the town centre, where Mill Street is located nearby.
By Bus
Abergavenny has a well-connected bus network, and Mill Street is only a short walk from the Abergavenny Bus Station, making it very easy to reach by public transport.

Most local and regional services, including routes from Monmouth, Brecon, Hereford, Newport, Merthyr, and surrounding villages, arrive at Abergavenny Bus Station.

The bus station is located just off Monmouth Road, and from there it’s only a 2–4 minute walk to Mill Street.

Simply exit the bus station and follow the signs or short footpath leading towards Mill Street / Town Centre.
On Foot (from the Town Centre)
If you’re already in the centre of Abergavenny:

Head toward Monmouth Road / the Bus Station area.

By Train

The nearest train station is Pye Corner railway station, the NP10 9EJ postcode area lies about 1 km from Pye Corner.

From Pye Corner, you can walk (about 10–15 minutes depending on pace and luggage) or take a short local taxi or bus ride.

Once off the train, head toward Tregwilym Road / Jubilee Park straightforward walking directions via local streets should bring you to The Garden Kitchen.
By Bus

There are multiple bus-stop options near NP10 9EJ: for example stops at “St Basil’s Church”, “Cefn Wood School ”, “Laurel Road ” all within walking distance of Tregwilym Road.

Many of the local buses running through Rogerstone / Newport area will stop nearby. Once you get off at the closest stop, it should be a short walk (or a few minutes) to the Garden Kitchen.

As public-transport timetables vary, we recommend checking a live bus-planner (or a map app) to identify the bus routes closest to Rogerstone + Tregwilym Road on the day.
On Foot

If you’re already in Rogerstone or near Newport suburbs, and not far from Tregwilym Road, walking is feasible, the area is reasonably urban and postcode data shows a cluster of residential & retail addresses around NP10 9EJ.

Use the postcode NP10 9EJ in your map app, it will bring you close to the Garden Kitchen’s building.

We're open 9am-5:30pm Monday - Saturday and 9am-4:30pm Sundays
Please note that the kitchen closes at 4pm Monday-Saturday and 3pm Sundays. After this time you can enjoy drinks and cakes. Last orders for any hot drinks and cakes is 45 mins before store closing.

Takeaways & Cake-Away - We offer takeout coffees & hot drinks and takeaway cakes & bakes, plus our Monday-Friday 'Bap & Brew' offer where you can take-away a hot breakfast bap and Hard Lines coffee for just £6.
