Job Overview:

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join the team at The Garden Kitchen by Pugh’s Abergavenny. This is a vital role within our kitchen, supporting our chefs and helping ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Washing dishes, utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment

• Keeping kitchen and wash-up areas clean, tidy and well organised

• Assisting with basic food preparation when required

• Receiving and putting away deliveries

• Supporting chefs and front-of-house teams as needed

• Following food hygiene, health & safety procedures at all times

Person Specification:

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment

• A positive attitude and willingness to help the team

• Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential

• Flexible availability, including weekends and bank holidays
