About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Barista to join the team at The Garden Kitchen by Pugh’s. This is a customer-facing role where quality, consistency and warm service are just as important as great coffee.

You’ll be confident preparing high-quality coffee using professional equipment, delivering a friendly experience for every guest, and maintaining high standards in a busy, vibrant environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold drinks to a high standard
Operate and maintain coffee machines and grinders
Deliver consistently excellent customer service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee and service areas
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards
Support the wider front-of-house team as needed

About You

Previous experience as a trained barista is essential
Confident with creating drinks and milk texturing
Friendly, approachable and customer-focused
Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Flexible availability, including weekends and bank holidays
